50 Cent Will Shovel Your Snow For $100

Earlier today, 50 Cent (née Curtis James Jackson, III) took some time out of his bizzy creepin’ around with comedienne Chelsea Handler schedule to announce to his legion of Twitter followers that he is making himself available to shovel people’s show for the low, low price of $100 … tho, it’ll cost you a bit [...]

The happily pregs Penélope Cruz was spotted out and about here in SoCal last week doing a bit of last minute shopping. Penélope took her burgeoning Baby Bump to the Ed Hardy store on Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood, CA … erm, I guess there is no accounting for taste.

Despite Penélope‘s OBVS bad taste in shopping habits, I still heart her entirely and cannot WAIT for her to bring forth the fruit of her loins. I love how pleasantly plump she is getting. Pregnancy looks very good on her. I can’t wait ’til she pops!! Wee!!!

If You Are Ready To Learn How To Play Popular Piano, Then I Am Ready To Teach You - For FREE!

Probably one of the cheapest 12 string electric guitars in the market today, the Dean Boca provides a budget-friendly alternative to the more elite Rickenbacker 360/12. The Dean Boca features a semi-hollow double cutaway body that more or less pays tribute to the famous Gibson ES-335. The "wings" of this semi-hollow 12 string electric also bears f-shaped sound holes e.g. like those holes in a violin or cello. This guitar is also equipped with a Tune-o-Matic bridge, a fixed bridge system with easily adjustable intonation.

Rapping Beats - MP3 or WAV When Buying Rap Beats? Make The Most of Your Money!

A lot of people have a conspiracy theory for just about every significant event that has ever occurred. Well the deaths of all major celebrities, especially rock stars, often seems to be surrounded in a shroud of mystery. The "King Of Rock & Roll", Elvis Presley, is no exception. Some believe he is alive today. If he is, here is a compelling appeal for him to come out of hiding and restart his career with a string of reworked songs, specifically designed for the 'older' Elvis.

Last week we got our first look at the first promo pics released for Jersey Shore season 3. Today we get our first look at a new JS3 promo photo of the entire cast … and from the looks on their faces, they seem about as bored with the show as I am:

It is becoming increasingly clear that pretty much everyone is already over Jersey Shore … including the Jersey Shore cast themselves. My guess is that the cast is trying to look “serious” in this photo but they, instead, all look like they could give two shits about anything. If I’m bored with the show and the JS cast is bored with the show … what is my incentive to watch season 3? Anyone?

Tony Romo & Candice Crawford Are Gettin’ Hitched!

Congratulations are in order for Dallas Cowboys quarterback (and famed ex-boyfriend of Jessica Simpson) Tony Romo and Candice Crawford because today we learn that the couple have gotten themselves engaged to be married! As you may recall, Tony and Candice (younger sister to Gossip Girl‘s Chace Crawford and 2008 Miss Missouri) started dating shortly after [...]

After spending about 16 hours unconscious yesterday, I am happy to report that I am feeling a smidge better today. I’m not sure what the heck is going on but this is the second time I’ve come down with a 24-hour bug that really knocked me on my bum. Yesterday was a pretty hellacious day and the only way to not suffer was to be asleep. The body aches stopped at around 8PM last night but I slept the rest of the night away in the hopes that I would wake up refreshed. I wouldn’t say I’m feeling refreshed exactly but I am feeling a million times better. I’m deffo on the upswing and that is the best news ever. If I continue to keep feeling better, David and I are still planning to make our way to the Orpheum Theater in downtown LA to see Peaches live in concert:

I’ve been a fan of Peaches for many years now so I’m excited to see her live on stage again. She is performing a show titled Peaches Christ Superstar that I’ve heard is pretty fantastic to see. I’ve deliberately stayed away from any show spoilers so I’m really looking forward to seeing what she’s got in store for us. To be honest, if it weren’t for tonight’s show, I’d deffo be staying my ass in bed … but it’s Peaches. I gotta see this show.

And so … another Friday is upon us again. This weekend is the last weekend before Xmas so … I hope all y’all make the most of it! Happy Friday, Happy Weekend!!

How The Dream Mixtapes Created A Superstar

Learn to play the guitar - with your passion as guide! By that I mean that you should always learn only the things that you are truly eager to master. Why Everyone Should Listen To Music

Electric guitar lessons are considerably difficult given the time and expenses it requires. First of, before you can play or learn how to play an electric guitar, you must your own electric guitar. This is for obvious reasons wherein you must be able to continue and incessantly practice and train to be able to advance in learning how to play the electric guitar. Even choosing your own, personal electric guitar is really a tedious and difficult process. You are continually torn between the looks of the guitar and the quality of the sound it produces. For example, a guitar with a good brand name, a slender body, cool curves, and a varnish with your favorite color maybe, after buying it, turns out to sound really awful.

Using a Microphone Preamp for Excellent Recording Quality

This article argues that live bands provide better entertainment at wedding receptions than iPod playlists or wedding DJs do. Some of the reasons to support this argument include the fact that live bands are made up of musicians who are born to perform. They have spent years training and honing their craft, and genuinely love to play music and keep guests smiling. Another argument discussed in this article is that iPod playlists are generally lacklustre and unimpressive. When you hire a live band you get charisma, stage presence, audience participation and flexibility.

Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson Reunite In NYC

Kevin Federline rounded up his children with ex-wife Britney Spears — sons Sean Preston and Jayden James — and his ladyfriend Victoria Prince for a family outing in Chatsworth, CA last week so that the family could pick out an Xmas tree. Here are a few photos from the fun family outing:

These are really cute photos, y’all. I am just amazed at how big both Sean P. and JJ keep growing! And, in all honesty, I must give some credit to their father K-Fed. For the most part, my beef with the man has been over the way he has continued to leech off of his famous and very wealthy ex-wife but for the better part of the last year, he has remained off the radar and seems to have finally settled into a quiet life of fatherhood. Even his relationship with Victoria Prince seems to be stable and happy and, well, I can’t really think of a bad thing to say about either of them. While I have never been an K-Fed fan, there have been glimmers of hope that the guy might turn out to be a decent person … for some time now, it appears that the guy has finally grown his ass up. While it’s unfortunate that the children have to be shuttled back and forth between their parents, I understand the relationship that Britney and Kevin share is one that is friendly enough so that their children never get caught in the middle of any drama. I’m not saying I’m a bona fide Kevin Federline fan but I can now appreciate that he seems to have matured enough to not warrant any personal attacks. I just hope he continues to be the best father he can be to his sons … if that is his main goal, then he’s deffo got a fan in me.

Filling the Air With Christmas Karaoke Songs

Any person who organizes events knows that music is a very important aspect of them. While other arrangements certainly require to be looked into, music tends to need the lion's share of the organizer's energy because there are so many things that can go awry and ruin the function. If you have been entrusted with the responsibility of finding the best band for your function, then you should read the following tips because they will be very useful for you. There is more to finding a band than just placing musician wanted ads in various publications.

Lethal Weapon Movies - Remembering Riggs

While we are all familiar with digital out of home (Dooh) and outdoor digital signage used for marketing, branding, promotion, advertising and information, there are other far less utilitarian uses for digital screens. With the rise of touch screen and tablet computers like the iPad, digital screens are being used in the art world - not only to display artists work, but also to create it. This has proved a fantastic medium for displaying and creating art and has even been taken up by some of the big names in the art world.

Ryan Reynolds & Scarlett Johansson Are Dunzo!

Uh oh! We’ve got another celebrity break-up to discuss … and this one is even bigger than Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter‘s split. I have safely and happily made my way back home from my frigid and snowy home state of Michigan to the warmer climes of California … and it feels good to be home. Even tho I had a lot of fun in Detroit, I really really REALLY hate the cold and the snow so … yeah, I was itching a bit to get back home. I did manage to bring a bit of my home with me to LA … my mom scrounged up my class rings, yearbooks and other school memorabilia so that I could bring them home with me:

I think I’m finally ready to ask David to go steady with me so … he’ll get to wear my high school class ring if he says yes. I know that many folks have asked for high school photos of me but I just can’t find the strength to embarrass myself like that just yet … maybe some day but, nope, not yet.

So yeah … I’m home again … and for a while ;) Tonight, David and I have tickets to see the Broadway musical Next to Normal which is in production here in LA for a few weeks:

We both saw it on Broadway in NYC last year but not together. He loved the show so much he wanted to see it again so … that’s what we’re doing! Happy Tuesday, y’all … it’s great to be home!!

Playing Chords on the Guitar

Almost all who are interested in music know that the Fender Stratocaster guitar is the most popular solid body electric guitar ever created. Each of its models from 1954 to 1965 also known as 'pre-CBS' models since CBS Broadcaster Company bought Fender in January 1965 is the most beautiful collection. It is originality and condition that makes Fender Stratocaster guitars unique ones.

Four Best Singers of Bollywood

With every remix, time is often the underlying factor, so it's important to decide which samples stay and which should be left out within the first couple of hours (or days, if you've got a longer deadline). In every track there'll always be two or three hooks that make the track what it is. This can be the main riff, the vocals or a specific effect that's used throughout.

Jonah HexThanksgiving is a time to take a break from the bustle of everyday life, take stock of the many blessings bestowed upon us during the year and give thanks for them. It's also a time for turkey.

Keeping in line with both of those sentiments, online ticket retailer Fandango has revealed its list of this year's 10 biggest cinematic turkeys, a.k.a. the films moviegoers are least thankful for, so far. The list is based on reviews written by Fandango users who doled out their hard-earned cash to see these films and were more than just a little nonplussed by what they got in exchange.

Hit the jump to see the list (and what users had to say about each film). And remember: If you haven't paid money to watch these flicks, that's just one more reason to be thankful.

10. "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time"

"Story was lame and confusing in places. Special effects good. I was entertained for the most part, but overall was disappointing." -- Santa_Fe_Ranger

9. "Jonah Hex"

"In a 73min film, they manage to fill it with a majority of explosions, dragon balls, bad acting, groans from josh brolin, and cartoon-looking effects. The plot is paper-thin to the point of no return and Megan Fox proves that she has nothing to offer but her body and her face." -- moviegod15

8. "Furry Vengeance"

"I wasn't expecting much and was still disappointed, even for a kids flick. My 5yo asked when it was going to be over only half way through, that's pretty bad." -- ValGirl

7. "Skyline"

"The plot was clearly recycled.....with machine zombies, and a hazy cross between the Toy Story and Saw series, with a splash of Independence Day to spice it up, you've got an instant bust. Spend your $10.00 on something more entertaining and rewarding, like rotating your tires." -- jobliny

6. "The Back-Up Plan"

"No chemistry whatsoever between J-Lo and the leading man. Really didn't like the negative talk about kids. Didn't find it funny in the least and walked out in the middle of it." -- mtinva

5. "The Sorcerer's Apprentice"

"Over all the movie was lack-luster. Save your ten bucks and wait for netflix." -- Billyboru

4. "Marmaduke"

"Pretty lame-o. George Lopez character was the only one that carried any interest. Bathroom humor is a pathetic way to get your laughs. Even my children thought this was lame." -- cwieb28

3. "The Last Airbender"

"I really, really wanted to like this movie - I was super excited to see it. Ten minutes in, I wanted to leave. The acting was terrible, terrible, terrible! The special effects and plot were fairly good, but the acting pretty much ruined any chance this movie had of being good. Characters were not believable at all. Too bad, this movie had real potential." -- mtnbikechick

2 "Casts & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore"

"This movie is painfully boring.... even for the kids. It was like torture to sit through.

If you go to see this movie, it proves you really love your kids and you are desperate for a nap and just need an uncomfortable movie seat to doze off in." -- hollymattson

1. "Vampires Suck"

"This movie sucked in every aspect." -- bumbullbee

Stop the presses, y’all. Actors Anne Hathaway and James Franco have just been signed to host the 83rd annual Academy Awards show on February 27, 2011. It was rumored that the pair were being courted for the gig and they must’ve both said yes as quickly as they could cuz now it’s official … Anne and James will be hosting the Oscars!

James Franco and Anne Hathaway have been tabbed to co-host the Feb. 27 Academy Awards. Both have films currently in release: Franco stars in “127 Hours” and Hathaway co-stars with Jake Gyllenhaal in “Love and Other Drugs.” Neither have hosted before, but Hathaway participated in a song-and-dance routine when Hugh Jackman hosted in 2009. Move comes a year after the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences had Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin front the show. The Oscars will be telecast by ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

While this will not be the first time that actors have co-hosted the Oscars I believe this is the first time such young actors have been tapped for the job. I LOVED Anne‘s song-and-dance bit with host Hugh Jackman during the 2009 Oscars (so much so that I would LOVE to have Hugh Jackman host the Oscars every year) so I think she will make a great host. Paired with Franco, well, it’ll be very interesting to see how it all plays out. The Academy Awards play much better to the older Hollywood set so I’m curious to see if the young duo will cater to the older, traditional Oscar watcher or if they’ll youngen up the awards show. I would’ve never guessed that either of these two would ever get to host the Academy Awards … let’s just hope they don’t eff it all up.

So … what do y’all think?

How To Interpret A Work Of Art

It takes reading ten to fifteen plays to find one script that will work for tournaments and about two to six hours to cut the text to fit the time frame. Using some basic techniques will help that process, but contrary to popular belief, scripts do not win, students themselves win. It's up to the competitor to breathe life into the words that an author has painstakingly composed and published. As and actor your soul must be big enough to play any part and make it real and accessible to an audience.
