Kate Moss Jamie Hince Got Hitched!
Late yesterday afternoon, David and I met up with our dear friend Gillian and a group of new friends at the Cat and Fiddle Pub in Hollywood to hang out, share stories and break bread together. Altho it was a pretty hot day, we managed to enjoy the beautiful SoCal weather in the cool shade. The rest of the day was pretty low key … so it was basically the perfect lazy Summer day.
The Cat & Fiddle Pub is one of the first places I visited on my first visit to LA all those years ago and I always forget what a great place it is. The atmosphere is so relaxed. Unfortch the location isn’t the best which means that parking is a nightmare but I was reminded yesterday how much I love that place :)
As I mentioned, the rest of the day was pretty quiet … David and I just hung out at home. I love how you can literally feel things slowing down as we settle into Summer. This weekend, especially, will be a lazy one … the 4th of July holiday weekend should be a fun, quiet 4 days. I hope all y’all have a fun weekend! Enjoy it!! Happy Friday!

The 2012 Presidential Election Just Got Funnier! Stephen Colbert To Air Political Ads!!!
We can't wait for these!
Stephen Colbert has JUST received approval from the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for a "Colbert Super PAC," which will give him permission to "produce and air political advertisements." AWE-SOME.
It gets even better though! Stephen has also gotten permission to use Comedy Central parent company Viacom's production resources/airtime/staff without his ads being [...]
Here's the deal:
Like many of the shows currently on HBO, Showtime and Starz, Game of Thrones is based off a book series written by George R.R. Martin. In two weeks, Georgie's going to release the fifth novel of the six book series and its been a long time coming - six years, to be exact. Fans have been eagerly wanting to get their hands on this story and at the moment, there are more than a few embargoed copies of "A Dance With Dragons" floating around.
With such hype surround the book and series, the publishers are imploring those in possession of the book to hold off on releasing any spoilers until after the book is released. They've even gone as far as to published a public plea on their website, imploring the books secrets be kept as such and asking fans not to see out the spoilers that could be flying around. The website says:
"And so, Voyager is asking you – if you can bear it – to avoid your favourite GRRM-related sites (except for George’s official site, and the Voyager site of course, where we will be screening comments as always) to ensure that the latest installment of this epic story is not spoiled for you. You’ve got a remarkable journey ahead of you, and some stunning surprises, and nothing should come between you and that experience. The embargo is now being thoroughly enforced by all accounts and customers around the world to ensure that no more copies are sold early."
Ah! But there is the rub! Can they bear it??? They're already all wincing over the fact they have to wait like FOREVER for season two of the show. These next two weeks might end up being damn near deadly if they don't get their hands on the deets!
Think U might manage to stay off the forums for two more weeks? Or, do you need to know NOW???

Watch: Jake Gyllenhaal Guest Stars On The Season Premiere Of Man Vs. Wild
Last night David and I met up with our friends Ollie, Woody and Darion for a fun concert night at the Staples Center to see Rihanna on her Loud Tour. Darion and I saw Rihanna on tour last year so we were very excited to see her perform again this year. I managed to stay away from photos and videos of this tour so as not to spoil the show and was very happy to see that Rihanna‘s live show changed pretty dramatically from last year to this year. Click below to see some photos of Ri Ri‘s live performance last night.
While Rihanna put on a fantastic show, the consensus among the group was that her performance was not as high energy as it could’ve been. To be clear, Rihanna sings live thruout this entire show and she busts a move here and there … but the tone of the concert was kinda mid-tempo thruout. Her usual club bangers weren’t really loud at all, to be honest. That said, I personally really enjoyed myself and had a great time last night. I can’t say that Rihanna‘s Loud Tour is a high energy, blow your mind kind of show … but Rihanna does sing her greatest hits with all her heart and that alone is worth the price of admission.
Here is a photo of me with Darion and Woody:
David and Ollie were seated on the other side of the Staples Center. I know they had fun … but not as much fun as we did ;)
This afternoon, I may be heading out to an early showing of Transformers: Dark of the Moon and tonight David and I are meeting up with Adriana at the LACMA to see the new Tim Burton Exhibit. Later tonight, I’m hoping to make it out to one of Ollie’s DJ parties so … today should be a fun-filled day. Happy Hump Day!

Mark Zuckerberg Hides His Friend List On Google Plus!
What's the matter, Mark? You don't like irony of being the most popular person on Facebook's competition?
After joining Google+ Project, Mark Zuckerberg quickly gained massive popularity with over 100,000 followers!
Guess he felt that he was getting TOO popular, because he decided to hide his friend list.
Come on, Mark, show us that friend list again! Facebook [...]
Wow. We've never really seen anything like this - especially featuring this kind of subject matter!
Check out the new music video for the Cults' single Go Outside, off of the band's debut, self titled album, which features actual video footage taken from the famous religious cult led by Jim Jones, Peoples Temple, before the Jonestown Massacre.
According to a statement from director Isaiah Seret:
To tell the story of Cults' hauntingly beautiful track, "Go Outside", I was inspired to bring the band inside the world of Jim Jones' famous religious cult, Peoples Temple, and the eventual tragedy in Jonestown. Fortunately, when exploring the feasibility of this video I became acquainted with Fielding M. McGehee III, an expert on Peoples Temple history and the primary researcher for the Jonestown Archive. It is thanks to him and his encouragement that I was able to take on this project and through his support gained access to over two and half hours of home videos showing Peoples Temple in Jonestown. For this music video we didn't want to put a spin on the footage or the peoples lives—instead we wanted to re-tell and humanize their story. In order to achieve this we used a combination of stock footage, visual effects and other tricks to embed the band into the historical footage. This was achieved through my collaboration with my visual effects supervisor Bill Gillman and my cinematographer Matthew Lloyd. Lastly, I am moved to say when we completed the video we were able to preview it for some of the survivors of the Jonestown Massacre, who expressed their appreciation of our focus on the lives of the People's Temple members as opposed to exploiting the graphic images of the final tragedy.
In History and Memory,
Isaiah
Wow. Pretty powerful stuff.
And it fits PERFECTLY with the tone of the song - haunting, simple, and deeply sad, especially knowing what happened to many of those poor people.
We can't wait to see what else these guys do! We LOVE them!
